Please note that the work which our volunteers do is exempt from the provisions of The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. All convictions, however old, must be declared. All the information you give us will be stored on a database and treated in the strictest confidence. This information will not be used to discriminate against you unfairly or passed on to any third party.

You will need to apply for a DBS disclosure which we are happy to help you to complete. As you know, agencies must be careful to enquire into the background of anyone working, or having contact with, children and young people and we can only place you within our organisation once you have received a satisfactory DBS disclosure form.
